On 25 March 2008, the Brazilian Ministry of Health launched an unprecedented action plan aimed at containing the incidence of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases among gay men, men who have sex with men (MSM), and transvestites. The plan, which prioritizes issues, such as the reduction of the vulnerabilities associated with sexual orientation, guaranteed access to AIDS prevention, increased information regarding GLBT communities, and guaranteed action by all three levels of government has the stamp of approval from several organizations, including the National Association of Transvestites (ANTRA) and the Brazilian Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transvestite and Transsexual Association (ABGLT).
Posters, like the one above, read "Do whatever you want, but do it with a condom" and will be distributed in gay bars, nightclubs, parties, other places frequented by gay men, and in related civil society organizations.

Brazil has been a model nation when it comes to fighting HIV/AIDS for a long time. The most important thing they did was defy the big drug companies and go ahead with the production of locally produced generic anti-HIV drugs. As a result everybody could afford them and countless lives have been saved. Viva Brazil !!!
