Pinknews is reporting that a spray-on condom has been invented in Germany.
"The system works a bit like a car wash. The man put[s] his penis in a chamber and presses a button to start the jets of liquid latex, sucked from a detachable cartridge. The rubber dries in seconds and is later rolled off and discarded like a conventional condom."

Nicaragua to decrimalize gay sex

Pinknews is reporting that consensual gay sex in Nicaragua will no longer be a crime under a new civil code due to come into effect in March 2008, thus removing all reference to a 1992 legislation that prosecuted practicing gays and lesbians with one to three years of imprisonment.

When in Abu Dhabi... - NYU in the UAE
Check out this interesting article in the Washington Square News, New York University's student paper, about plans for America's most gay-friendly school to build a campus in the United Arab Emirates, where homosexual acts are illegal.
Many have raised questions about the partnership, saying it is at odds with New York University's support for rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students. But as Kerwin Kaye, a bisexual doctoral student in NYU's American Studies program said at a town hall meeting discussing the issues:
"In bringing up these issues, I do not wish to exacerbate anti-Islamic or anti-Arabic prejudices. As with the status of women, the status of homosexuality in Middle Eastern countries is extremely complex, and people should avoid the idea that the West is inevitably more tolerant or accepting."

Bob Allen found guilty
Unsurprisingly, Florida Republican Bob Allen has been found guilty of soliciting oral sex from an undercover police officer. Back in the summer, Allen had claimed he agreed to pay a "stocky black guy" $20 USD to perform oral sex in a park toilet because he was afraid of being assaulted. Republican party representatives said he will be removed from office.
